Our beginner lesson with Emily Johnson of Mahjong LV and her assistants takes you from your first tiles to your first real game. Already play? Grab a seat and a table and play with friends old and new.

Two ways to join
Beginner Lesson $50
For beginners. Learn the tiles, the Charleston and how to read the card, then play your first real game!
Open Play $25
For anyone who already plays. A seat at a table for the evening. Bring friends or meet new ones.
Good to know
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your 2026 NMJL card, if you have one.
Will there be food?
Yes. We’ll have light refreshments and snacks.
What if I can’t make it?
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can give yours to someone else. Email support@calliesmahjong.com with your name and theirs, and we’ll update the guest list.
How do I get my ticket?
After purchase, you will receive a confirmation email of your receipt. Your name is on our guest list at the door, so there’s nothing to print.
Where do I park?
Bungalow has a private lot! There is also street parking nearby if that fills up.
