Real American Mahjong.
Now on Android.
A full 4-player table in your pocket, any time you have a few minutes. Three AI opponents who each play differently, a real Charleston, and the official NMJL card — with every hand scored for you. No ads, nothing tracked.
Everything a real table has. None of the hassle.
Callie's Mahjong plays like the game you know from the club or the kitchen table — and it never waits on a fourth.
Full 4-Player Table
A complete game of American Mahjong against three AI opponents, any time you want it. No internet, no account, no waiting for anyone.
Smart AI Opponents
Every opponent thinks — and plays — differently, every game, drawn from a roster of thirty-two. Step up to Hard when the table starts feeling comfortable.
A Real Charleston
Right, across and left, a vote to stop after the first round, and a blind pass on the last. Jokers stay put, exactly as they should.
Learn to Play in Minutes
A guided "How to Play" walks you through an entire hand step by step — the Charleston, calling tiles, using jokers, declaring Mahjong. You win every time, so you learn by doing.
Official NMJL Cards
Play with the built-in NMJL 2025 and 2026 scoring cards — or keep a photo of your own physical card in the app, a tap away and pinch to zoom.
9 Tile Sets, 8 Themes
Original, Basic, Classic, Colorful, Race and Space, plus three sets drawn for us by independent Mahjong artists: Sweets and Cozy by Winds and Wall Collective, and Zen by Tales of Mahj. Thirteen table colours on top, or let the table match your theme.
Every Hand Fully Scored
When the hand ends you see every player's tiles, the hand they were building and how far short they fell, plus a running scoreboard for the whole game. No mental arithmetic, no arguments.
Built for Everyone
Full TalkBack support with spoken play-by-play of every discard and call, an Accessibility Mode that highlights the tile you just drew, haptics on key moves, and larger text honored from your Android settings.
No Ads, Nothing Tracked
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking libraries of any kind. Your games, your statistics and your card photo stay on your device. We never see any of it.
From your first hand to your hundredth.
Guided onboarding for new players, a realistic Charleston, and automatic scoring that does the math for you.

Frequently asked
Do I need Wi-Fi to play?
No. A full 4-player table against AI opponents works entirely offline, with no internet connection and no account. You only need a connection to start your subscription.
Can I play with friends and family?
Not on Android yet. The Android version is a single-player game against AI opponents. Playing with real people — in the same room over Wi-Fi, or from anywhere — is available today on iPhone and iPad.
How much does it cost?
The app is free to download, with a three-day free trial that unlocks everything. After that it is a subscription — $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, your choice. Google Play shows the price in your own currency before you commit, and you can manage or cancel it there at any time.
What scoring card does it use?
The official NMJL 2026 card is included, with the 2025 card available too. You can also keep a photo of your own physical card in the app and pinch to zoom in on it while you play.
What if I can't finish a game?
You don't have to. Leave whenever you like and the app keeps your last result — when you come back it offers to show you how the game finished.
Is my data private?
Yes. Callie's Mahjong has no ad or analytics SDKs, no tracking, and no accounts of our own — we never see your games or your statistics. Anything you add, like a photo of your card, stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does it support TalkBack?
Yes — every tile, button and screen is labeled and announced, and you can play a full hand, Charleston included, without looking at the screen. Spoken play-by-play announces every move as it happens and steps aside when TalkBack is doing the talking.
Which Android versions does it run on?
Android 7.0 and newer, on phones and tablets.
